Gastroenterology Consultation
A comprehensive review of your current health and test results to help understand your condition and formulate a treatment plan.
Gastroscopy
A 10-minute day procedure in which your doctor will examine the inside lining of your oesophagus, stomach and part of the small intestine while you are asleep.
Colonoscopy
A 20-minute day procedure in which your doctor will examine the inside of your bowel while you are asleep.
Iron Infusions
An iron infusion is an effective way of managing an iron deficiency. Iron deficiencies can be caused by poor dietary iron intake, iron malabsorption (due to digestion issues), or blood loss.

Dr Ashley Bloom
Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist
MBBS, B.PHYSIO, B.ERG, FRACP
Ashley is an experienced consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who provides comprehensive care across all areas of Gastroenterology including the evaluation and management of advanced liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease (crohns and ulcerative colitis), irritable bowel syndrome, bowel cancer screening, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD). Ashley holds a consultant appointment at Monash Health, where he performs endoscopy including emergency procedures, manages inpatients and manages outpatients in a range of advanced liver clinics and advanced endoscopy clinics. Ashley is actively involved in clinical research and in training and mentoring of junior medical staff and advanced trainee doctors.
Dr Michael Braude
Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Endoscopy Specialist
BiomedSci, BSc(Hons), MSc, MBBS, PhD, FRACP
Michael is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who manages a range of Gastroenterological issues, including liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. Michael performs Gastroscopies and Colonoscopies, including polypectomy and Fibroscan. Michael holds a public consultant appointment at Monash Health, where he leads the metabolic fatty liver disease clinic. He also leads several international liver clinical trials.

Gastroenterologist and Intestinal Ultrasound Specialist
B.Med, PhD, FRACP
Dr. Anuj Bohra is an academic Gastroenterologist and Intestinal ultrasound Specialist. He combines his private practice with his substantive public appointment as a Gastroenterologist at Northern Health catering to the diverse community of the Northern suburbs.
